COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 21, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Public Health Ontario reported another 741** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 350 none, 20 partial, 331 full, 40 unknown), bringing the total to 611,691. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Saturday. Of those, 596,259 are resolved (97.5 per cent) and 9,967 people have died (three more than Saturday).

There are 107 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals not reporting weekend bed census), 135 in the ICU and 79 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,535,522 (29,799 more than Saturday) and results are pending for 6,884.

Ontario has administered 22,802,867 vaccine doses (11,404 more than Saturday), 11,204,499 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (43), Toronto (80), York Region (26) and Ottawa (48) account for 197 of today’s cases.
