As of 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Public Health Ontario reported another 728** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 370 none, 17 partial, 287 full, 54 unknown), bringing the total to 610,950. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Friday. Of those, 595,669 are resolved (97.5 per cent) and 9,964 people have died (five more than Friday).
There are 283 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting). ICU and ventilator numbers were not available. The number of tests performed is 19,505,723 (30,138 more than Friday) and results are pending for 11,131.
Ontario has administered 22,791,463 vaccine doses (15,367 more than Friday), 11,197,154 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (45), Toronto (89), York Region (31) and Ottawa (39) account for 204 of today’s cases.
