COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 12, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Friday, Public Health Ontario reported another 598** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 298 none, 24 partial, 222 full, 54 unknown), bringing the total to 605,846. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Thursday. Of those, 591,525 are resolved (97.6 per cent) and 9,921 people have died (five more than Thursday; four new deaths, one added due to data clean-up).

There are 207 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals did not submit daily bed census on Remembrance Day), 130 in ICU and 72 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,290,043 (30,230 more than Thursday) and results are pending for 11,008.

Ontario has administered 22,681,696 vaccine doses (13,468 more than Thursday), 11,126,663 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (43), Toronto (63), York Region (32) and Ottawa (37) account for 175 of today’s cases.
