COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 9, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Public Health Ontario reported another 441** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 225 none, 19 partial, 173 full, 24 unknown), bringing the total to 604,152. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Monday. Of those, 590,227 are resolved (97.7 per cent) and 9,903 people have died (three more than Monday).

There are 244 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 134 in ICU and 78 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,196,635 (19,368 more than Monday) and results are pending for 14,750.

Ontario has administered 22,637,009 vaccine doses (13,049 more than Monday), 11,098,007 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (15), Toronto (55), York Region (30) and Ottawa (34) account for 134 of today’s cases.
