
As of 10:30 a.m. Friday, Public Health Ontario reported another 419** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 231 none, 24 partial, 140 full, 24 unknown), bringing the total to 599,259. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Thursday. Of those, 586,356 are resolved (97.8 per cent) and 9,865 people have died (zero more than Thursday).
There are 211 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 130 in ICU and 89 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 18,909,268 (29,592 more than Thursday) and results are pending for 12,281.
Ontario has administered 22,476,654 vaccine doses (21,170 more than Thursday), 10,991,730 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (32), Toronto (63), York Region (30) and Ottawa (30) account for 155 of today’s cases.
