SDSG – It’s decision day in Stormont, Dundas and South Glengarry.
This is Election Day and voters will have 12 hours to cast their ballot starting at 9:30 a.m. at polling stations across the riding.
Voters will be choosing either Conservative incumbent Eric Duncan, Liberal Denis Moquin, New Democrat Trevor Kennedy, Green Party candidate Jeanie Warnock or People’s Party of Canada’s David Anber.
Elections Canada says there are 85,163 people eligible to vote in SDSG on official lists.
Remember when you’re going to the polling station identified on your voter information card to bring identification, such as a health card or driver’s licence, with your name, picture and current address.
Polling stations will also have hand sanitizer. Polling workers will be masked and you need to wear a mask as well. You can also bring your own pen or pencil to mark your ballot.
