GLEN ROBERTSON – Provincial police say a motorcycle rider has been seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver on a county road, northeast of Glen Robertson.

SD&G OPP say the crash happened on County Road 21 (St. Anne Road) around 5 p.m. when the eastbound bike was struck by the vehicle.

The driver then took off. Because the other vehicle was not at the crash scene, police aren’t sure what direction the vehicle was travelling at the time of the crash and where it headed after the collision.

The motorcycle rider is in hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.

A section of St. Anne Road (County Road 21) is closed with detours in place at Hope Ouimet Road as traffic collision investigators work at the scene.
