CORNWALL – A fire inside a boarded-up house on Gloucester Street in Cornwall has kept city firefighters busy Sunday.
They were called around 11:20 a.m. to the single-storey home at 350 Gloucester Street North, just south of Fourth Street East.
Firefighters had to use chainsaws to cut their way into the derelict building to put out the fire, which appeared to be coming from the basement.
City police are asking people to avoid Gloucester Street North from Second Street East to Fourth Street East.
There are no reported injuries.
The fire prevention office is investigating.
