CORNWALL – The federal all-candidates debate for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry will see most of them in the same room Wednesday to take public questions and present their platforms.
But it will be atypical due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It won’t be a “debate” with an audience at the Cornwall Civic Complex. Instead, it will be in a room at the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce office on Second Street West and will be live streamed and broadcast on YourTV.
It’s being billed as an “All-Candidates Meeting.”
The chamber says Conservative Eric Duncan, PPC’s David Anber, Liberal Denis Moquin and Green Party candidate Dr. Jeanie Warnock are confirmed.
While members of the public are invited to submit their questions here, there will be no live audience and two or three constituents may be invited to ask their question in person, the chamber says.
It starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
