CORNWALL – The City of Cornwall has set up a cooling center at the Benson Center for people to escape the heat.
It’s open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the spectator areas of ice pad 1 and ice pad 2.
You have to wear a face mask.
A heat warning is in effect for the region as hot and humid weather is expected through Sunday with the humidity making it feel like it’s nearly 40 degrees on the weekend.
The weather is expected to break Monday with cooler temperatures.
