Update 10 a.m. Tuesday: CN Rail has rescheduled the work until Aug. 17-19, 2021.

CORNWALL – If you take Boundary Road in your Cornwall travels this week, you will need to plan some extra time.

The railroad crossing in Cornwall’s east end will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday as CN Rail replaces the panels, ties, rails, planks and other components at the three-track crossing.

During July 27-29, traffic will be detoured via Marleau Avenue, Tenth Street and Industrial Park Drive.

Canadian National Railway conducted a similar rebuild of the railway crossing on Power Dam Drive last week.
