INGLESIDE – A South Stormont retiree is $1 million richer.

Seventy-five-year-old Denise Toman of Ingleside won one of the guaranteed million dollar prizes in the May 26 draw on Lotto 649.

“The morning after I checked my ticket using the OLG Lottery App and when it made the winning sound, I thought I won a Free Play. I couldn’t believe it when I saw what I won – I checked it again on the computer,” Toman recounted to lottery officials.

She plans to buy property and share her winnings with family.

The winning ticket was bought at a Vincent Massey Drive gas station in Cornwall.
