CORNWALL – Some more child care spaces will be opening up at a French Catholic elementary school in Cornwall.

The Ontario government is spending just over $608,000 for an addition to the school, adding a new child care room and 10 new child care spaces at Marie-Tanguay school in Holy Cross Boulevard.

The French Catholic board has been given the go-ahead to tender the project.

The money is part of the provincial government’s capital investment program.

No timeline was given on when the addition will be completed.
