Long Sault man scratches way to $100,000

LONG SAULT – A Long Sault man has won $100,000 in an instant scratch ticket.

Bodo Schmidt got the top prize on a $5 Instant Crossword Tripler, which he called a pleasant surprise.

β€œIt’s been quite a windfall for us, It will enhance our lives,” the 73-year-old retiree said when picking up his prize.

He plans to share the windfall with family and loved ones.

The ticket was sold at the Mac’s in Long Sault.
