SD&G – You will find a few closures throughout SD&G for the Family Day provincial holiday. Here’s what is open and closed for Monday, Feb. 15:
Closed
- City of Cornwall, the United Counties and SD&G township offices
- Most grocery stores, Walmart
- Banks
- Schools
- LCBO and The Beer Store locations
- Cornwall Transit is not operating and the office is closed
- In Cornwall, no garbage and recycling collection. Your pickup day will be a day later than normal pickup for the rest of the week. The landfill is closed.
Open
- Most federal government offices
- Canada Post and mail will be delivered
- Recreational trails at Guindon Park.
- Outdoor rinks at Dover Heights, Gallinger, Grant, King George, Lamoureux, Mattice, Memorial, Menard, Optimist, Reg Campbell and Terry Fox parks.
If you’re not sure if something is open or closed, it’s best to phone ahead of time.
