CORNWALL – There will be 11 inductees added to the Cornwall and Area Arts Hall of Fame this year.
Hall of Fame board chairman Elaine MacDonald says the group includes a mix if historical and contemporary figures.
They are landscape artist Mary Mack, dance teacher Bernice Dickson, painter Audrey Bain, theater performer Doug Hill, musician Bill Roddy, writer Bernard Chevrier, potter Ann Marlin, entertainer Marc DeMontigny, painter Alan Bain, organist Gilles Routhier and corporate sponsor Emard Brothers Lumber.
This is the first time the hall has added a sponsor, recognizing the contributions to the arts from the Emard family.
Due to the pandemic, there won’t be a ceremony this year – it will be done in the fall of 2021.
