CORNWALL – Emergency responders have pulled a body from the St. Lawrence River near the City of Cornwall’s marina.
Cornwall-SDG Paramedic Services was on scene at Marina 200 on Water Street along with Cornwall Fire Services and the Cornwall Police Service around 3:20 p.m. Friday.
The body was pulled from the water.
A witness told Cornwall Newswatch the area was taped off and O.P.P. and RCMP had boats on the water. Cornwall Fire Services also had its boat ready to launch from the city dock behind the RCAF Wing 424.
Police say there is nothing criminal in nature and the identity of the man won’t be released out of respect for the family.
