CORNWALL – Two people have been arrested after police searched a Cornwall home Wednesday morning (Oct. 14) and seized $29,000 worth of drugs and money.
Officers moved in on the Cumberland Street home and confiscated purple fentanyl, crystal meth and methamphetamine, along with a shotgun, a pellet gun and cash.
Police say the combined street value of the drugs and money is $29,000.
Two Cornwall men, ages 45 and 37, are facing drug and weapons related charges.
Cornwall Police Service Insp. Chad Maxwell says the police force will continue to target and pursue opioid traffickers – a drug that has been linked to overdoses in the community.
