CORNWALL – The last novel coronavirus patient, who spent weeks in an Ottawa hospital, has been released from the facility.
In its statistics released Wednesday afternoon, the Eastern Ontario Health Unit reported that there are now no people from Cornwall, SD&G or Prescott-Russell in hospital with COVID-19.
The case also increased the number of resolved cases by one to 166.
The number of confirmed positive cases remained steady at 180 with 11 deaths.
- Prescott-Russell 118 cases (106 resolved + 11 deaths)
- SD&G 37 cases (35 resolved)
- Cornwall 25 cases (25 resolved).
There is one active institutional outbreak. The outbreak was declared at an unnamed facility after a worker from Quebec, who doesn’t show up in the local case count, tested positive.
Testing increased by 544 to 35,827.
