SOUTH GLENGARRY – A South Glengarry man is facing additional sex-related charges after a third victim was identified, SD&G O.P.P. said Friday.

Aurele Guidon, 73, was originally facing two counts of sexual assault on someone younger than 16, one count of sexual interference and three counts of sexual exploitation.

Guidon was arrested on June 29, 2020 following an investigation by the SD&G O.P.P. Crime Unit.

Police say two young people had been sexually assaulted but did not disclose when the alleged assaults took place.

The O.P.P. then announced Friday (July 10) that an additional victim had been identified through their investigation and the accused had been arrested again the day before (July 9).

Guindon is facing four additional counts of sexual exploitation.

He will appear in a Cornwall court on Sept. 8, 2020.
