CORNWALL – The St. Lawrence River Institute has received a grant from a bank foundation to study the health of the Upper St. Lawrence River.
The $100,000 grant from the RBC Foundation will cover two years of research.
The Great River Rapport project has a number of partners including the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne. To date, over 1,000 people have been involved.
The project will “merge river stories with science” to teach students and the community about the health of the river.
