SD&G, PRESCOTT-RUSSELL – The Ontario government has revealed that another confirmed case of coronavirus has shown up in the Eastern Ontario Health Unit area.
The woman in her 60s contracted the virus through close contact and is self-isolating.
The provincial government doesn’t give case specifics and the Eastern Ontario Health Unit said on Sunday it was done giving out case-by-case accounts given how widespread the virus is now.
There were another three cases in Ottawa.
There are 78 new cases across Ontario this morning (since the 5:30pm Sunday update), bringing the provincial total to 503. Eight cases has been resolved and six people have died.
