SD&G – There was a Lotto 6-49 ticket for last night’s draw (March 7) sold somewhere in SD&G that’s worth a lot of money.
Officials with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation say that one of three Encore tickets that won $100,000 came out of a lottery terminal in the county. The other two were sold in Toronto.
The exact location won’t be disclosed because that is used as part of the validating process when the person comes forward to collect their prize, which they have a year to do.
The ticket was part of last night’s (March 7) Lotto 6-49 draw, where someone from Brampton won the $11.4 million jackpot.
The region has recently seen some bigger prizes with a Cornwall man picking up $250,000 and a North Stormont man collecting $100,000 – both on Encore.
