SD&G – Expect a possibly slippery and icy drive into work Thursday morning across SD&G.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region with a wintry mix expected overnight.

It will start as rain and then change to light snow overnight and possibly into Thursday morning.

Two to four centimeters (0.8-1.6 inches) accumulation is expected.

“Falling temperatures through the morning may also cause roads to become icy or slippery. Prepare for hazardous driving conditions at times,” the weather agency said.
