CORNWALL – A local manufacturer of corrugated plastic packaging and signs has been named one of Canada’s top 500 companies for revenue growth.

Laminacorr Industries landed in the 331st spot on Canadian Business magazine’s Growth 500 ranking of the fastest growing companies.

Laminacorr has experienced 221 per cent revenue growth over the last five years and had $10-20 million in revenue last year (2018). It has 80 full-time equivalent employees, according to the magazine.

The business on Marleau Avenue in Cornwall’s Business Park started a $6.1 million expansion in April 2018, which is expected to be done by December 2020. It will add about a dozen jobs to the payroll.

Vancouver furniture manufacturer Article, which specializes in mid-century and Scandinavian furniture, was at the top of the list.
