CORNWALL – A woman was taken to hospital by paramedics Thursday morning after a two vehicle crash at Brookdale Avenue and Water Street in Cornwall.
An Audi A7 and a Dodge Caravan minivan were involved in the collision around 10:20 a.m.
Cornwall police and CBSA police (southbound Brookdale was detoured through the port of entry property to access eastbound Water Street) directed and detoured traffic around the crash site while Cornwall firefighters cleaned up fluids leaking from one vehicle.
Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services took one woman on a stretcher from the scene to be assessed. She appeared to be alert and speaking with the medics and had been sitting on the curb next to the crash site before they arrived.
A police investigation is ongoing into the cause and whether charges will be laid.
