IROQUOIS – A driver has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a head-on crash on County Road 2 Sunday afternoon.
Provincial police say a car collided with an SUV on a section of the road between Marine Station Road and Binion Road, west of the village, around 2 p.m.
The man driving the passenger vehicle was airlifted with serious life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver and three passengers in the SUV were taken to hospital by paramedics with non-life threatening injuries.
County Road 2 in the area has been closed to traffic between Marine Station Road and Binion Road and detours are in place.
