Crawford named Blackhawks assistant coach

CHICAGO, Ill. – Marc Crawford has been named assistant coach of the Chicago Blackhawks, the team announced today (Tuesday).

Crawford will be joining head coach Jeremy Colliton in the windy city.

The man who currently makes Cornwall his home was assistant head coach for the Ottawa Senators for three seasons. He was interim head coach for part of the 2018-19 season after the club fired Guy Boucher.

Crawford in a Belleville, Ont. native but has close ties to Cornwall where he met his wife, Helene Campeau.
