Robert Cotnam retires from Cornwall fire department

CORNWALL – After just over three decades of firefighting, Cornwall Fire Services Platoon Chief Robert Cotnam has retired.

The head of the 1B platoon marked his last official day today (Thursday) with the ceremonial last ride in a fire truck from the station on Fourth Street West.

Cotnam has served in fire protection and prevention in the City of Cornwall for 31 years.
