BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Buffalo Sabres have placed forward Remi Elie on waivers.
The 23-year-old from Green Valley has had one assist, nine shots on goal since he started with the team Oct. 2, 2018 after being claimed off waivers from the Dallas Stars.
If he clears waivers by tomorrow at noon (Sunday), he Sabres could send him to their AHL affiliate – the Rochester Americans.
But any NHL team could claim him off waivers with the exception of the Dallas Stars having first rights. The Stars drafted him in 2013.
In his 106 game NHL career, Elie has had seven goals and 22 points.
