CORNWALL – The Cornwall Community Hospital has received a $20,000 grant for infant and toddler mental health programming.

The money is coming from the Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund.

It will be used train mental health and addiction staff to deal with mothers suffering from depression before and after birth, as well as promoting services available to caregivers.

It’s believed that providing mental health services for parents and caregivers will lead to better mental health for those children later in life.

Bell Let’s Talk Day is Jan. 30.
