Charges laid in deadly South Dundas ATV crash

IROQUOIS – A South Dundas woman is facing a half dozen criminal charges in connection to a deadly all-terrain vehicle crash in mid-August.

SD&G O.P.P. announced today (Nov. 8) that Montana Gabriel, 21, is facing charges which include impaired driving causing death and criminal negligence.

The driver of an ATV lost control and flipped in a ditch on Broken Second Road, throwing three people from the vehicle. One passenger, 18-year-old Jasmine Saunders, died from her injuries in hospital last week.

Police have not identified the other passenger.

Gabriel will appear in court Nov. 29.
