CORNWALL – The Cornwall Prowlers lost 7-5 to the Pontiac Comets at the Benson Center Saturday night.

Cornwall was up 4-0 early in the team’s home opener before the Comets came from behind in the final period with four unanswered goals.

Prowlers General Manager Mitch Gagne said the team used all the energy from the close to 400 fans in the stands but it was not enough. Some players were battling the flu, he said.

Jonathan Labelle and Sebastien Thinel each had two goals. Dominic Leveille added the single.

The next home games are Friday, Nov. 2 at 8:30 p.m. against the Vaudreuil Titans and Saturday, Nov. 3 against Mont-Laurier at 8 p.m.
