SOUTH DUNDAS – A Nova Scotia woman has been charged with first degree murder in the 2016 death of a man in South Dundas.
SD&G O.P.P. have charged 67-year-old Beverly Thomas of Digby, N.S. According to police, Thomas used to live in South Dundas.
Police were called to a home on Feb. 6, 2016 for a man in medical distress. Edward Allen, 67, died shortly after from undisclosed injuries.
In 2016, SD&G Const. Joel Doiron told Cornwall Newswatch that a call came from the home on Chess Road, northwest of Iroquois, just before 11 p.m.
Thomas will appear in a Cornwall court tomorrow (Sept. 28).
First degree murder is the killing of a person that is “planned and deliberate,” according to the Criminal Code of Canada.
