CORNWALL – Hundreds of cyclists will be making Cornwall a stop later this month.
But, before the PwC Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Bike from Ottawa to Cornwall gets here, the organizers need some volunteers.
Regional Director Kristin Harold told Cornwall Newswatch they are still looking for about 20-30 people to help out in various roles at Nav Center and another 5-10 people at the Long Sault rest stop at the Lost Villages Museum.
More than 100 volunteers will help with loading and unloading the luggage truck, preparing and serving food, as well as logistical support.
Roughly 600 cyclists are going to make the trek Aug. 18 from the Larry Robinson Arena in Metcalfe through SD&G to Cornwall and then back the next day,
This is the 29th year for the tour, which raises money for programs, services and research.
You can volunteer by calling Julie Findlay at 613-728-1583 extension 3326 or email julie.findlay@mssociety.ca
