CORNWALL – A Cornwall man, charged in connection to a violent kidnapping and shooting in Cornwall three months ago, has been rearrested.

Cornwall police picked up Marcel Seip, 29, on Monday (March 12) and charged him with breaching a court order to not leave his home without his sureties and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace.

The breaches are said to have happened on Thursday (March 8).

He was held for a bail hearing.

Seip is facing 11 charges, including kidnapping while using a firearm, after a man was shot in the arm after being taken from his York Street home on Dec. 2.

He had been scheduled to make a court appearance at the end of the month on those charges.

Two other people – 24-year-old Kaitlin Chaine and 22-year-old Blais Girard – are facing charges in that kidnapping and shooting.
