ST. ISIDORE, Ont. – A large fire has broken out at a propane distribution company, north of Highway 417, tonight (Tuesday).
The fire was reported around 6 p.m. at Levac Propane on 5552 St. Catherines Street (County Road 9) in Saint Isidore (just across the border from North Glengarry and County Road 20).
According to numerous social media posts, a blue building on the property was fully engulfed in flames and the fire could been seen several kilometers away in Facebook video taken near the scene.
There have been multiple fire departments dispatched to the scene. ICI Radio-Canada says Casselman firefighters have also been called in for backup.
The road in the area is closed.

Levac Propane Inc. has been a family business, with retail operations since 1993, according to the company’s website. It has grown with four distribution centers now operating in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
