CORNWALL – The executive director of the United Way of SD&G has resigned.

Lori Greer tendered her resignation and will be leaving the agency next week (March 16) to pursue her career path in a different sector.

Greer said it was difficult while weighing her decision with the needs of her family, saying it’s been a privilege to work with the agency.

“On behalf of the board we all wish Lori tremendous success in her new career,” board chairman Nolan Quinn said. “Lori’s cheerful personality, professional attitude and most of all her caring heart were a true asset to our agency.”

Greer has been with the United Way as executive director since 2014.

The United Way will continue to function with its core staff and support from the board, while it goes through a recruitment campaign.
