CORNWALL – A Cornwall man was being treated for hypothermia over the weekend in Ottawa after he was found inside a construction site on Montreal Road.
The 19-year-old old was found Saturday morning inside the cordoned off area of the site at the corner of Belmont Street and Montreal Road, next to the La Maison bar.
The site is the future home for a student housing complex to serve St. Lawrence College.
The teen had apparently been there since Friday night during a time when the area was pounded with snow and was under snowfall and extreme cold warnings.
It’s not known how he accessed the site or why he was there.
