Pedestrian hit on Fourth Street West

CORNWALL – A section of Fourth Street West is closed this afternoon (Thursday) after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

It happened around the lunch hour, just east of Cumberland Street.

Cornwall-SDG Paramedic Services, Cornwall firefighters and Cornwall police were on scene.

“A young female pedestrian was struck by a white Kia. She was taken to hospital with unknown injuries,” Const. Dan Cloutier told Cornwall Newswatch.

No other details were immediately available.
