Cornwall car fire suspected arson: police

CORNWALL – City police believe a car fire near the Cornwall waterfront was deliberately set Tuesday night.

Cornwall firefighters and police were on the scene around 5 p.m. at the base of Rotary Lane near the Rotary Eco Gardens.

Flames could be seen shooting from the front windshield of the light-coloured sedan.

Const. Dan Cloutier told Cornwall Newswatch there were no injuries and the case is being treated as an arson.
