CORNWALL – Canada’s 150th birthday in Cornwall is being commemorated with its own coin.

The city unveiled the nickel-plated coin today.

It has the Canada 150 logo on one side and the clock tower in Lamoureux Park on the back.

The coins are being sold for $1.50 at the city’s economic development office.

A few of the coins were also loaded on the Canada C3 and will be deposited at several geocache spots as the ship makes its way around the country via the Northwest Passage.
