Ball hockey tourney; over $7K for Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers

WINCHESTER – Organizers with the Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers 3rd Annual Ball Hockey Tournament are calling the event a success.

Fourteen teams with over 150 players were at the event in Winchester last weekend (May 27).

The day raised a total of $7,343 for the Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers program, which included a partial match by the South Mountain branch of Scotiabank.

SD&G O.P.P. Const. Tylor Copeland, the coordinator of the local Crime Stoppers program, thanked participants, volunteers and sponsors of the event.
