SD&G – Provincial police impounded five vehicles over two days last week along Highway 401 in the United Counties.
The high flier was a 35-year-old man from China, allegedly going 167 kilometers an hour through South Stormont on Wednesday morning (March 29).
The other four drivers caught on Tuesday and Wednesday ranged in age from 19 to 53 and all except one were men.
They were caught on radar going between 151 and 162 kilometers an hour.
In each case, their driver’s licence was suspended for a week and their vehicles impounded for the same amount of time under Ontario’s Street Racing Law.
