Nationals fall to River Drivers

CORNWALL – While it was First Responders Night at the civic complex, the Cornwall Nationals were not able to resuscitate their game against the Berlin River Drivers.

The Nats fell 8-2 to the River Drivers in front of 657 fans.

Scoring for Cornwall was Storm Adams and Maxime Guyon.

During First Responders Night, local police officers, firefighters and paramedics, were honoured in a special pre-game ceremony.

The Nationals are back on the ice Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. when they welcome the Danbury Titans.

Cornwall is second last in the FHL standings with 50 points – 10 points of ahead of the basement dwelling St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints. Danville leads with 119 points.
