MORRISBURG – The province has done an about-face, announcing that it will not be closing nine Service Ontario centers, including offices in Kemptville and Morrisburg.
It comes eight months after the province put those closures on hold.p
The Ministry of Government and Consumer Services made the announcement today (Feb. 16).
Numerous petitions had been sent to the province, including those from MPP Jim McDonell, MPP Steve Clark, members of the community and the United Counties of SD&G.
