VANKLEEK HILL, Ont. — An area beer manufacturer won’t face a bottleneck when it comes to future production.
Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company has received $96,659 from the provincial and federal governments.
The ministers of agriculture were joined by Glengarry-Prescott-Russell MP Francis Drouin for the announcement on Monday.
The craft brewer will be upgrading its bottling line at the plant, “increasing productivity and growing the business, which helped create new jobs,” the government said.
The Vankleek Hill, Ont. brewery is one of 223 projects across the province to receive nearly $12 million from the Going Forward 2 fund — a joint Canada-Ontario fund, administered by the province.
The Ontario government says the food and beverage processing industry employs 246,000 Canadians and is the largest manufacturing employer in Canada.
