CORNWALL – A Canadian football fans’ dream will be coming to Cornwall next month.
The Cornwall Nationals hockey team announced that Dan West, a CFL player from the champion Ottawa Redblacks, will be at their Feb. 4, 2017 game at the Ed Lumley Arena.
The 30-year-old West, who lives in Cornwall, will also be bringing the Grey Cup.
The Nationals are planning a pre-game ceremony before the team takes on the Danbury Titans, where fans will be able to take pictures with West and the cup.
The FHL team is also hosting an “exclusive after party” where fans will be able to meet with West and see the Grey Cup up close.
