CORNWALL – A traffic light to manage cars and trucks during the Brookdale Avenue construction project should be gone within the “next couple of weeks.”

Stan Hum, the city’s transportation technologist, told Cornwall Newswatch the temporary lights at Water Street and Cumberland Street will be removed by Louis Bray Construction’s electrical subcontractor, Black & McDonald.

The temporary lights were installed in July 2016 as part of the detour plan in order to ease traffic congestion.
