
CORNWALL – A crash involving three tractor-trailers has closed the eastbound Highway 401, east of Cornwall.
O.P.P. tweeted just after 10 a.m. that the three truck are blocking the highway near Boundary Road.
Exactly how many vehicles were involved in the crash in snowy conditions is not known.

South Glengarry Township firefighters are on scene.

Traffic is being detoured via County Road 2 at Boundary Road and then traffic is getting back on the highway via County Road 27.
The westbound lanes of the highway are unaffected.
O.P.P. say it’s not known how long the highway will be closed. As of 2:30 p.m. the eastbound lanes of the highway were still closed.
There’s no word on the extent of any injuries.
